Commissions are just the best! I love hearing my client’s stories behind the home portrait or wedding venues they commission. If you are interested in commissioning me to paint something for you, here are some popular Questions and Answers about the Commission process with me!

Q: What all do you paint for people?

A: I primarily paint architectural watercolors (houses, doors, storefronts, church venues etc.) and custom abstract lakes, but if you have other commissions just message me and we can chat. If I can’t paint it for you, I can help put you in touch with another artist that specializes in what you are wanting!

Q: What is my investment?

A: Each piece of art is truly custom and depends on architectural details and sizing. Prices start at $98.00 for a custom watercolor portrait.

Q: What is your turn around time?

A: Once the painting is purchased and house photo is submitted, you can expect your portrait to be mailed in 5 weeks.

Q: What kind of picture do you need to paint from?

A: For home portrait or wedding venues, I just need a snapshot of the building. This can be a phone picture, google map snapshot etc. It doesn’t have to be fancy, but I need to be able to see the whole building. You can send me multiple angles if you want and I will piece it together from there.

Q: That all sounds good, how do I book a commission spot?

A: Simply purchase the listing at the top of the page! Once you make your payment, you are officially on my commission list. Email me the pictures of your commissioned building amandaowensart@gmail.com
